Have rich experience of about 25 years in the Industry.Acadamic experience is more than 9 years.Currently teaching LEAN SIX SIGMA to ME Students.So far 14 Ph.D's produced in the area of industial engineering.Currently 10 scholars are working under my guidance.

Principal

Mr. R. Raju is an esteemed educational leader and Principal at Saraswathy Engineering College, Olakur, Tindivanam. With a strong educational and professional background, he brings extensive expertise to his role.

Mr. Raju holds a Ph.D. in Total Quality Management from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University Department, Madras University. His doctoral research focused on identifying Critical Success Factors and TQM culture variables for the successful implementation of Total Quality Management in Indian industries. Additionally, he completed an MS by research in Engineering Management from BITS/PILANI.

His educational achievements also include an M.E. in Industrial Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, and professional degrees and diplomas in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and Rail Transport. Mr. Raju further pursued his passion for management studies, obtaining an MBA in Management Studies and an M.A. in Public Administration.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Raju held various roles at College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, where he served as a Professor and Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering. He has made significant contributions to the institution, including his tenure as Director and Additional Controller of Examinations. Furthermore, he held the position of Special Officer at Tindivanam University College of Engineering.

Throughout his career, Mr. Raju has guided numerous research scholars and supervised multiple research projects. As a Ph.D. supervisor at Anna University, he has mentored 23 scholars and guided one scholar for an M.S. (By Research) program. Additionally, he has provided guidance for over 50 M.E./M.Tech. projects.

Mr. Raju is an active member of professional organizations such as the Institution of Engineers (India) and the Institution of Industrial Engineering. His commitment to academia and his extensive research background make him a valuable asset to the institution.

With his vast knowledge and experience, Mr. R. Raju leads Saraswathy Engineering College, fostering academic excellence and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
